Variegated Philodendron Gloriosum Type 2

A rare-form variegated aroid defined by large, velvety heart-shaped leaves with pale veining and irregular cream to light green variegation in marbling or sectoring patterns — Memory Plants offers Philodendron Gloriosum Variegated Type 2 as a selection of the Colombian crawling species.

The Type 2 form originates from selected variegated lines in which expression varies from leaf to leaf, while the classic soft matte texture and strong leaf form carry through the plant's growth. Each newly unfurled leaf can display its own arrangement of cream and green across the surface.

Growth habit: it grows as a ground-crawling aroid from a rhizome that produces one leaf at a time as it extends, so new foliage emerges in sequence along the creeping stem rather than in a clustered crown.

Care guidance: it performs in bright indirect light, warm temperatures, high humidity, and a very airy substrate that stays evenly moist with good structure and airflow.
