Variegated Albo Alocasia Sarian Hybrid Plant

The Alocasia Sarian Albo Variegated, offered by Memory Plants, is a distinctive Alocasia hybrid grown for its long, narrow foliage and upright clumping form. Leaves are elongated with pointed tips, giving them a sleek, lance-like silhouette, and they carry strongly contrasting venation that runs prominently along the length of each blade.

Coloration centers on deep green tones offset by pale veins, and as an albo selection it adds creamy white variegation across the foliage. This white coloring appears as irregular marbling, streaks, and broader sectors set against the darker green base. Because the patterning is expressed differently on every leaf, the balance of green and white shifts as the plant matures, and each round of new growth reveals fresh variegation patterns.

Growth is upright and clumping, with new leaves unfurling from a central crown and the plant gradually taking on a fuller appearance with age.

For care, this Alocasia performs in bright, indirect light, warm and stable temperatures, elevated humidity, and soil that stays evenly moist yet drains well. Steady light helps support the variegation and healthy foliage, while good airflow and an airy growing medium help keep roots in good condition. Combining elongated leaves, pronounced veins, and high-contrast white variegation, this is an unusual selection worth considering for Alocasia collectors.
