The Ficus Lyrata Variegated, widely called the Variegated Fiddle Leaf Fig, is a variegated form of the classic fiddle leaf fig. Its broad, violin-shaped leaves carry a thick, leathery feel and clearly defined veining, with irregular splashes of creamy white to soft yellow spread across the deep green surface. Variegation shows up in many ways — sectoral patches, marbling, streaking, or lighter bands along the veins and leaf margins — so every leaf matures with its own distinct balance of color.
Like the standard species, this selection keeps an upright growth habit and can gradually grow into a small indoor tree built around a strong central stem, with foliage that becomes increasingly substantial over time.
It does well in bright, indirect light, warm and stable temperatures, moderate humidity, and a well-draining growing medium. Let the top layer of soil dry out slightly before watering again, while keeping moisture even through the root zone, and give the plant good airflow to support healthy leaves and roots.
Because each plant develops its own variegation pattern, the specimen you receive will vary from the one pictured — a part of how this variety grows.
