Specifications for this exact plant: pot size 2.5" x 2.5"; soil media RPF Soil Mix; height 5" with pot; longest leaf length 2".

Ficus sp. 'Electrolyte' is a variegated cultivar from one of the plant world's largest and most familiar genera, Ficus, in the mulberry family, Moraceae. The cultivar name traces back to Thailand, where it was first selected and named, though the exact species parentage has not been formally confirmed.

Its foliage is what distinguishes it: instead of the clean white or cream sectoring common in many variegated aroids, 'Electrolyte' carries an irregular mosaic of deep green across a bright chartreuse to yellow-green base, so each glossy, elliptic leaf holds its own pattern of color. On mature growth, small green syconia — the fig genus's characteristic fruit structures — form directly along the stem at the leaf nodes, a sight most houseplant growers do not expect to see indoors.

The plant offered here was propagated by cutting from Rare Plant Fairy's own mother plant, pictured alongside it, which continues to produce new growth and fruit under their care. Grown in soil in bright indirect light, it adapts readily to typical houseplant conditions once established, offering a comparatively easygoing entry point into variegated Ficus collecting. *The last three photos show the mature plant.*
