Alocasia 'Cuprea' Albo/Pink Variegated Plant

This rare variegated Alocasia brings a striking metallic look to any collection. A selection from Memory Plants, this cultivar is a variegated form of Alocasia cuprea known for its distinctive lacquered foliage and layered coloration, where each leaf unfolds with its own individual patterning.

The thick, shield-shaped leaves carry a rigid, glossy surface with a copper-to-bronze sheen. Across this metallic base, irregular Albo white and soft translucent pink variegation is scattered in unpredictable patterns. As the foliage matures, the deep purple-red underside of each leaf lets pink tones glow faintly through the blade, producing a subtle stained-glass effect that shifts with the light.

Upright, sturdy petioles support a compact, architectural growth habit, giving the plant a sculptural presence on a shelf or desk. Growth is measured and unhurried, and the individuality of every leaf means no two plants look alike — a that makes this cultivar sought after by enthusiasts of unusual foliage.

Care guidance: this plant performs well in bright, indirect light with a well-draining, aerated substrate, consistently high humidity, and warm, stable temperatures. Daily care recommendations should always follow the instructions supplied with your plant.
